Hello everyone!
Some players have reported issues with behaviours after long playthroughs. We’re really sorry about this! We completely understand how frustrating these are, and we want you to know that resolving them is our top priority.
We’ve put a few tentative fixes in place and will push them live as soon as we can. However, these bugs have been especially tricky because they often clear up with a save/load, and several different issues look very similar, which makes tracking them down harder.
Some of these tentative fixes that will be available in on our BETA soon are:
- Staff flip-flopping on jobs and fulfilling needs.
- Guests not using the gift shop.
- Staff won't join Expedition because their expedition is in the reward stage.
To keep you in the loop, here are some known issues we’re actively investigating:
- Tour Guides not taking breaks. We believed this was fixed, but it looks like the issue is persisting.
- Staff attempting to meet Polterguests’ needs prematurely (e.g., when those needs are still at 95%), causing inefficient behaviour.
- We're continuing to refine the balance between staff needs and their distance to satisfying objects.

If you experience something like this, please post in our bug report section of the community forum, with your Two Point Museum save folder (located here: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\Two Point Museum) and a DXDiag file.
We’re doing everything we can to get this sorted as quickly as possible.
