I have preordered the Explorer Edition on PS5 and deactivating the Kudosh over the options does not work, it’s still 5000 at the start of a new game.

We're sorry to hear you've had an issue with that feature.

Can we just double check, did you deactivate the EE Kudosh in the Settings while on the Front End menu before starting your game save? If the kudosh is active when you start the save it is set to be granted in that save, so disabling the feature after the game save has already been created will not prevent it from being awarded.
