Good afternoon,

I have played today for the first time since the version 4.00 came out.

I have so far put in in excess of 200 hours in the game and absolutely love it!

Just picked up a bug which is causing the PS5 Game to crash, and I managed to replicate it a couple of times so I can report and explain properly.

So i noticed on V4.00 you are not allowed to install multiple perks (same ones) at least in the security booth, however i created a new one, installed both Wide Watch & High Alert. Wanted to install a further High Alert as I have on my other booths and the game crash as soon you try to select the third perk.

Just wanted to report this to the developer so this hopefully can be fixed in an update soon.

So far that’s the only issue i found, but I will report further if I find anything else.

Tried to share the crash via report on PS5 but I don’t believe the PS5 recognises it as a crash and continues to play the game as normal.

After saving and quitting on the new snow map, the game crashed twice when I tried to load it. I solved it by manually selecting the load data, but I don't know why.

It also started crashing frequently when playing on a different map or when trying to launch the test sandbox for museum level 1. The crash doesn't always occur, so it's possible to play by restarting multiple times, but it frequently crashes when loading save data. I suspect that the crashes are caused by the progress in the game and the museum level increasing, which causes the game data and save data to become larger. I'm familiar with the phenomenon of crashes becoming more likely as you progress and add too many items, in Bethesda's Fallout series.

I suspect there may be a similar crash happening.

Heya, sorry to hear you're seeing crashes!

We have a known issue on PS5, the team has issued a fix which has just been released as a patch (today 22/07/2025 around 12:00 BST). Please make sure to grab the latest update the next time you play.

If you experience another crash, please write in the crash report. This makes it easier for the team to spot which logs they should look at first, as we'll know it was a crash. For example, you can write a random word like "fish"
