I am only on my 4th museum, Space, but over the weekend I was doing my 3rd museum, Wasteland, which I 2-starred and then as I had brought the Fantasy DLC spent a lot of time in this museum levelling up and playing with the Fantasy stuff instead of just progressing the curator story to the 4th museum. I got really far in the Fantasy stuff, uncovered majority of the map and was pretty much ready to do the second dragon battle but that's when I decided I should go progress the main story in the next museum.

The dragon burnt out one of the expeditions which then turned into a very high level expedition.

The info text states that the rewards move to different expeditions which is fine and I had farmed them all out anyway but for future museums I will have now lost that expedition for levelling experts and early exhibits so its going to be much harder to use fantasy in future museums going down the curator story track.

This might actually need a developer to possibly rethink a solution for this like maybe a new sidepath opens around the burnt village which can still be used by future museums for levelling up low level experts and an exhibit or two.
