Yesterday, an in-game event started where curators can explore the new Sunkiss Creek expedition site. However, the location is only available from now until October 1st. 3 months is a good chunk of time, granted, but walling off certain areas based on IRL seasons is something I find difficult to rationalise. This is especially true for sandbox mode, where we're supposed to be limitless freedom! How can we create our dream museum if we're forced to play only in certain times of the year  to get what we want? The idea of seasonal locales is fine on paper, but in practice is very detrimental to the creative mind in my opinion.

Agreed; and furthermore, I think it should be available in campaign mode year round too. 

What about the folks who will buy the game later on, they have to wait a year to have access to that PoI and those fish?

From my understanding of the Steam page notice, the items stay unlocked but the PoI does not? Sooo... if your lovely new fishies die 💀 before next summer..... it's just tough luck, but you can console yourself with a fishy banner depicting the fish you're no longer able to even get?? What??!! 🤣

I love the idea of the seasonal stuff, it's a great way to get people to jump back in to the game and all that. But having it vanish again after a few weeks/months

By all means, if TP plans on doing other seasonal stuff later, change the themes, menus etc. But please leave the PoI unlocked, otherwise it's punishing players who happened to buy the game at a later time! Not to mention depriving current players of access to what looks to be a great PoI/fishie set.

(I say "looks to be" of course, because there's not been a word about this coming to console 🤨... can we please get an ETA for that? And better communication about console in future announcements, for that matter? It's overdue, since console has been with Two Point since the beginning as well, not just PC. After Hospital, parity was promised; that applies to communication also, not just gameplay. Thanks.)
