Do you name your janitors and security guards with care and respect for their valuable roles in your museum? Or do you stand by the tried and tested impersonal designations of J-N 180 or T-R 239? 🤔

I name them. Oh boy, do I! 😁 From movie actor names to song titles, band members to insect names, I like to change it up.

Sometimes they just reflect the mood I'm in at the time. For example, in my screenshots I was having a tough day and the poor janitors irritated me early on, so they got named accordingly. 😝 Whereas the security guards had an easier time of it later and were all named after artists, when I'd calmed down. 🤣

Joking aside though, I name them because it's more personal this time around. As janitors and security can be lost in MIA events or other such catastrophies, they're part of the museum family in a way they never were in Hospital or Campus. Also, because of the nature of running the museums, you rely on them more for their necessary skills, so they're as important as your experts now. 👍🤖 

Case study. I have a security guard called Lemmy in one museum. Lemmy is specifically for going after thieves, because on that museum guards have to walk quite far to send off the thieves after they've been caught, and Lemmy (being metal) does not get tired from long walks. He enjoys the chase. He lives for hunting down thieves. He's like a metal bounty hunter. Lemmy rules. 🤘 So yes, support staff definitely matter more this time, and a round of applause to the devs for finding a way to make us care about them. 🥳

Have you been creative with the naming too? Or do you bother changing from the default? What about fish, do you name those? (So far I haven't, just the ones that require renaming for buzz purposes, but I might go on a whale-naming spree soon 😂)

I have to admit to being very lazy and not changing the names of my staff at all.  I only change exhibit names so far if it is needed for a buzz bonus too lol
