Hi Team!

I absolutely love Two Point Museum—it might even be my favorite Two Point game so far! That said, I’ve noticed a few areas that could be improved, so I’d like to share some suggestions:

0. Severe Lag in Late Game

This is my top priority suggestion. The game experiences significant lag during later stages, making game-play less smooth. Performance optimization would greatly improve the experience.

1. Impossible Choice During Expeditions (Cops vs. Choppers in Spoony Dunes)

In Spoony Dunes, the "Cops and Choppers" dilemma forces you to choose among repairing the chopper or patching it up or tracking down parts—but since the area only needs two experts and no janitors, the optimal choice (repairing the chopper) feels impossible. This could be re-balanced.ImpossibleChoice.PNG

2. Expert Selection in Expeditions

Scrolling through the extremely long list of experts to find the right one is tedious. It would be much more convenient if we could reuse the same experts from the last expedition or have a filter system.

3. Workshop Queue for Repetitive Crafting

Some workshop items (like Plant Camouflage) take only a few in-game days to produce, but you have to manually click to remake them repeatedly. Adding a queue system would save a lot of unnecessary clicking, or a bulk production.

4. Simplified Pricing in Gift Shops

Gifts like books, onesies, and plushies are split into categories (Prehistory, Botany, etc.), but customers don’t seem to care about the differences—they buy them regardless of my collection range. It would be much easier if we could set one universal price per item type instead of adjusting each subcategory individually.

Regarding #1, the dilemmas are randomised. This sort of thing happens all the time at most locations. You’ll frequently have the best option greyed out because that location doesn’t allow for the matching staff type, then you’ll get the same dilemma at a different location that does.

I presume this was so dilemmas didn’t get too repetitive too fast, but maybe it was also a conscious choice that we not always have the best option available to us and we must pick the lesser of two evils, after all, you’ll get another chance at it at another location if you play long enough.

I’ve been looking at a player-compiled list of dilemmas, and overall it would be nice if there were just more dilemmas; when you see them as a list, it doesn’t seem like there are all that many.

Regarding #4, according to the in-game information, guests buy what they’re interested in. For example: I just added a gift shop with items relating to the four themes currently present in the museum I was working on. They will not buy science books. Science posters? Yep. Science plushies? Yep. Science onesies? Yep again. But they will not touch the books. They are buying the other books. Go figure.

Oh yes you are right, when you want to teach someone, go too School Expediton, and than, 100 Person 50 off than save Gards, and you have too scroll...

Agreed.

With everything you said.

Note that you can edit job assignment, so having expeditions on there (which we don't) would be a quick way to slightly alleviate the selection process. Being able to designate a preferred team would be better.

Even the same search as the staff tab would help. Why are the menus so inconsistent?

It's definitely my favourite Two Point game and one of my favourite theme/sim games for years (I started with Populous I guess or something tycoon? I'm really old) additional notes from me:

Auto staff assignment. There's a thing on FIRE, you have staff trained for that. One is a short walk away, the other is the other side of a wall so physically closer but actually months of walking further away - the game ignores pathing hand assigns the closer staff who will take too long to get there.

Popup drops the item you're holding (inconsistent)

Trying to place an item, get a Popup message the item is no longer in your hands. It might drop back where it was, or to inventory, or in the case of my first robojanitor, just vanish entirely. Good luck out there robojanitor wherever you are!

Zones are basically useless.

A single Zone can not encompass inside a building and outside. Even if the building has like a courtyard bit in the middle.

Staff can only be assigned to one zone.

Zones can not overlap.

For extreme micromanaging zones are barely adequate - you can make each coffee stand and exhibit group their own zone with their own staff, but you can't just section the museum up into blocks and have the staff take appropriate action.

The tour bugs are already noted, as are the marketing, and pathing stuff and unresponsive control input so I won't say anything more about those things.

Again, loving the game, some minor QoL irritations and wishlist items I'd love photo mode to have a staff (first-person style) perspective option. Or be able to go round the museum through the eyes of the inspector.

Love this new Two Point game as others have said.  Other things I would love to see for quality of life:

1. Staff list sort options:  by type would be nice to be able to group experts by their field of specialty and by level, as well as salary satisfaction, and other options.

2. Staff list status notification: It would help if the staff list showed status effects as a color shading for the staff name; like illness blue shading, purple curse, ready to resign red, orange for injury, etc.

3. More interactive display options, especially for botany exhibits and space.

4. A toggle to auto turn off a tour when the chosen guide is on an expedition.

5. An option to give special tours for school trips and other visiting dignitaries.

6. More seating options for the cafeteria, like bar counter seating.

7. Allow cafeteria's to be set to staff only use.

8. Removal of the restocking gift shop option.  This doesn't work for non-gift shop workers, so it should just be something the workers do on their own.

9. Robot janitors need some tweaks for mods and levels.  More mod options and perhaps crafting mods in the workshop after discovered would make it more efficient.
