[Solved] Issues with updating on Xbox

Hello,


 We're aware that there are some problems currently with updating to the latest patch for Two Point Museum for Xbox Players.


 We're currently investigating the issue and will update as soon as we have more information.


 In the meantime, some players have found that re-installing the game has helped, or going to network settings and selecting "go offline" prior to starting the game.


 We're very sorry for the inconvenience and hope that this is solved ASAP so everyone can continue playing!


Update 6th March: 

Microsoft have now updated their Live Status to confirm that some games are having issues launching https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-live-status



Update 6th March (Afternoon): 

We've been told by Microsoft this issue is now solved - please let us know if you experience any issues!

Going offline will not help you if you purchased the game digitally. 


And reinstalling isn't a guaranteed fix either. Even installing on a different Xbox will not fix the issue.

Could you guys just put out an update that rolls things back for those on xbox . Because the game worked before the update broke it. Then you can fix the patch. That way maybe people can play until you figure out what broke the game in the patch.

Going offline did work (and I even bought it digitally). Only problem is that also broke the connection to my Two Point account and the game warned me if I tried to play anything using those would be destroyed. There's no telling how much that's going to affect what I've already done so that's not a good solution

Hi I'm having this issue on my partners Xbox account too. His account is justmrjosh. I've tried all the suggestions and nothing working.

Yeah, I'm back to not being able to play - when I set my console offline the game launched, but when I tried to load into my save it crashed (needed to be force quit).

I bought the game digitally on Xbox yesterday evening and have been getting the "This game needs an update that is not available" message too.


I haven't been able to play at all yet :(

I'm literally having the same issue. I've reset my Xbox, uninstalled the game and re installed. Tried looking for updates but nothings working. Hopefully they fix this soon

Just got this issue this morning when trying to play the game. Get the message 'game needs updating, but we are unable to do so at this moment' and an error code and neither work around has helped. Weirdly though, it when trying a manual update, it updated the sonic pre-order pack, but no updates for anything else.
So yeah, currently unable to play at all after a week of playing with the explorers edition and having had no issues.

Going off line,  did finally allow me to play.  Uninstalling and reinstalling did not work nor did restarting my Xbox. Hopefully they fix the issue soon.

Can anybody confirm wether its working yet please as the xbox status is saying everything is up and running and I've just finished work work and wondering Wether to it the pub first or not

It's still not working right now.

I'm in the same boat.  Still not working for me.  I've tried reinstalling, hard rebooting my xbox, and going offline...all to no avail.

It's still not working right now.

Just tried it now (17:55pm GMT), (12:55pm EST) and its working again for me on X-Box.
