Very simple issue to describe. I attempt to log into the Two Point County system on my PS5, but when I click on the box for username, a popup window appears with the window title "wireless controller disconnected", and the text "reconnect a controller to continue playing". This is a constant loop, as my controller is already connected and I can press X to close this window, but I cannot log in. Am I doing something wrong?

If you have any other peripherals like headphones or a keyboard and mouse connected, could you try disconnecting them before attempting to log in again?

I had two peripherals connected to my PS5, these being a keyboard and an external hard drive. I had to disconnect both. It is one thing if one must disconnect a keyboard. Still egregious, but okay. But disconnecting external storage? Come on...

Could you just confirm for me, did you unplug the keyboard first only to find that the issue was still happening? That's why you also unplugged the External Hard Drive? 

My initial comment was meant for things like Keyboards, I wouldn't expect the Hard Drive to be part of the disconnection so we'll investigate this further.

tried this and still can't sign in. took off headphones (only thing connected). and still saying to check my internet connection, this is getting silly. i know i have more than likely missed the limited time stuff because of the error, just disappointed that it isn't working.

The only solution that worked was to disconnect every peripheral. Keyboard, hard drive, and hub.
