QOL Suggestion for Staff Management

Hey Devs,

First of all, congrats on another amazing game in this series. I have already gotten to Curator lvl 5 and so far zones haven't really been explained in the campaign (no spoilers but I wonder if this is addressed later on). Either way I have some QoL suggestions that I am wondering if they are able to be implemented or how difficult it will be if they can't be.

I already discovered and starting using zoning to better manage the staff but the one thing I would love to see is the ability to assign zones from the staff list. I like being able to adjust all pays, assignments etc. and feels like assign zones to staff in that matter is just logical.

The other thing that zoning seems to help is better resource management since you can limit the staff within a zone. I find that with janitors in particular, they all seem to respond to the same "mess" at the same time, it seems like the AI queues the "messes" in order and won't move onto the next one until the initial call is dealt with. I wonder if there is a way to implement some sort of "memory" for staff so that the won't be called to an event that has been responded to by another staff member but not yet cleared.

The last thing would be a request to be able to toggle gird lines in the visualizations menu since those lines only can be toggled when in construction mode and not when moving or copying items/rooms. Just a little bit of an OCD thing when trying to perfectly align some things.

Other than that I have nothing but praises for the game but I feel like those minor changes can have a big impact!

Hi raz_kaz

Thanks for the suggestions, I've passed them on to our Designers.

Apologies if I have misunderstood you, but did you know there is a grid line toggle when decorating? I've added a screenshot below for you. gridlines.jpg

I hope this helps!

Yep,

I already know about this. The problem is that that view option is only available when selecting new items items or foundations but if I were to copy an existing item, I no longer have the option to turn on that view. See pics below:TPM1.JPGTPM2.JPGTPM3.JPG

I hope that clears up what I am trying to say. Basically you have the option to turn on grid lines when placing a brand new item but if i were to select to make a copy of said item, also quick shout out to this amazing feature, then I have no means to turn on grid line after that.

Thanks again for the prompt reply.

EDIT

I almost forgot, but are inner walls coming back to TPM? That was a great feature of TPC and have some good ideas on how to use it for staff/bathrooms

Hey raz_kaz,

All understood I'll pass it on!

"Inner Walls" were incorporated in to Museum as the Partition Walls. We don't currently have plans to put them in rooms, but I'll pass that feedback on too.

Thanks,

Chizel
