[Known Issue] No Advanced Access with Key Retailer Keys

Hiya everyone,

 If you've purchased the game from a key retailer and currently can't play, the team is aware and investigating things

 We recommend contacting the retailer directly. We believe the issue is the retailer has issue you physical keys, which does not include advanced access. The store pages were clear that advanced access was a digital only exclusive and physical editions shouldn't be available until March 4th

Update 1st March: Sadly we can't grant access early for those who purchased from sites outside our trusted retailer list. Some third-party resellers have miss-sold physical keys from physical boxed editions of the game, it was made clear to retailers not to sell these copies before 4th March and resellers have broken instructions.


We're honestly gutted that this has happened and it wasn't our intention to exclude anyone, the editions were set up like they were for a whole host of complicated production reasons and there isn't a big magic red button for us to fix things.


Please get in touch with your point of purchase as they have an obligation to supply you with the product they've advertised, and if they've misadvertised to you that you'd get advanced access, please request a refund from them.

Hi. I bought a physical edition "Explorer Edition" so I can't play it today 28/Feb in early access. Why? Is there a solution for that? A lot of people are complaining with same problem in Steam Forums.

I wish you had made this clearer tbh. I follow you on FB and all I saw was the constant updates about the Explorer Edition and that it would go live the 27th. No mention of a difference between physical key and a digital key whatsoever. This could have been communicated better and i wouldnt have been looking forward to it and  waiting for ages last night ...

It`s amazing how customer is always paying the price of unclear communication, why would you release same version of game (named is the same) that gives DIIFFERENT access to content. It will end up with me not purchasing any future product released
