I missed the bandwagon on this game by a few years, and picked the Jumbo edition up on a sale on the Switch exactly a month ago today. I'm both a 'new player' in that sense, but I've also literally put 165 hours into this game in the last month. It has taken up almost all of my free time, in a good way I think. I absolutely adore this game, and hearing there was going to be a campus themed sequel was amazing.

When I heard about the new game, I did a lot of googling about what else I could play in the meantime, and heard about the other DLCs (Stitch in Time, Speedy Recovery, etc), and it was really disappointing to hear that not only are they not available on the Switch, they can't be released for the Switch due to the memory capacity issue. I had held off on preordering the new game since I wasn't sure which system I wanted to get it for, but it is really reassuring to hear about the delay ensuring that the game will run smoothly for consoles specifically. There's just something really satisfying about playing the game on the couch with the radio DJs playing through the speakers.

Playing on the Switch, there are occasional framerate issues, the game will crash occasionally when loading into a new hospital (which can lose your progress if you didn't save before leaving your previous one), and sometimes my employees are just invisible. Honestly, I'm okay with that one.

Aside from the lack of the latest DLCs, my only other real regret for the Switch version is the SuperBug Network. I did the first one solo and it was fun! (Once I figured out what the hell a monobeast was) However, I have been unable to complete any other multiplayer mission because... of the lack of multiplayers. It's very much a 'me' issue, but my friends who have the game play on PC, and being unable to connect with them for missions means I just miss out on that content completely. I hope that for the Campus game, you are able to have friends on different platforms participate in any future multiplayer content, or that multiplayer content can be done solo, even if it takes a while.

All in all, this game is an absolute delight that brought me a lot of joy. Thanks, and can't wait to see what else you do.

Hey CreedKeeper!

It's lovely to hear how much you're enjoying the game, hopefully you'll enjoy Campus just as much, if not more :)

Believe me, we're really disappointed that we can't bring the rest of the DLCs to consoles too. Like you say though, the good news is that Campus is a brand new game built from the ground up, with consoles in mind from the start. So while the delay to August will help us ensure the game runs smoothly on all platforms, we've also made sure it'll be able to handle new content coming out in the future too! Smoother gameplay experiences, and parity across PC and consoles :D

For the Superbug network, there are a couple of places you might be able to find some people to help! There's the community Reddit (search for Two Point Hospital), or there's a few community Facebook groups for the game too, where players will help each other out!
