I've only just bought this game and was really getting into it. As soon as I expand my campus on any level the whole game starts to flicker unless it is paused. I don't have this issue on any other game so I don't think it's my console. The game runs fine up until I purchase more land to expand. It's making the game unplayable.

Can you make sure your console doesn't have any outstanding updates, and can you let me know if this issue happens on any other games too?
