I have 40 janitors for a 6 plot campus. I have created one giant building to avoid having students go outside near space rocks and overwhelming the medical rooms.

I am having over half of my janitorial staff hanging out in the breakroom saying "looking for work" while there is litter everywhere, beds/machinery/washrooms to clean, space rocks outside, and invaders. Buying more janitors is making me hemorrhage money.

I have followed some of the janitors around and they are getting confused and "lost", entering, exiting, and re-entering rooms while doing nothing. Some I will place in a room to clean litter, and they leave before cleaning the entire room, only to pace the halls again.

Is this a known issue or can this be looked into? It's frustrating trying to get the 3rd star on this map when my students are not happy because of their environment enough to get A+ grades.

I faced the same issues myself with that level - and it gets VERY frustrating that they appear to be lazy. I've trained up as many as I can, as well as re-arranged my building to prevent end-spikes (Dead ends) as well as putting most things easier to reach, and had little option other than to stick them into places to work.  There's also the issue with room equipment being unmaintained, despite the well-trained mechanics pretty much ignoring it.

Same! I tried making hallways 4 tiles wide and making rooms larger so that they were never at capacity, thinking that they were getting stuck in traffic and whatnot. That did not help even a little bit. I'm going on my 15th year I think, and still only have 5/25 A+ students for Humanities, and all of my teachers are level 8 with a ton of training in Inspiration and Private Tuition. It's so frustrating.

I have this issue as well.....It has to be a fault with the game. I have been checking everyday for a patch on this! 

Its making the game play not enjoyable.  

Seeing the same on Xbox too. Same sort of thing as others have reported - tried placing 3 janitors in a dorm with beds that needed attention, but they just ran off.

To send you folder follow this navigation path in file explorer: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\Two Point Campus. Once located, "Zip" the folder up (right click and you should see the option) and then send it as an attachment to campus-support@twopointstudios.com

My file path doesn't look like this. I don't have an AppData folder. Is this equivalent? C:\Users\<username>\Steam\steamapps\common\Two Point Campus\TPC_Data

Hi Melindee,

Could you open your File Explorer and type the following into your address bar: %appdata%, and then press enter.

This should take you to the correct folder, but it may take you one folder to far, into "Roaming". All you need to do in this case is click on "AppData" in your address bar to  go back to the right place. From here you should then be able to follow the file path as listed previously.

I too am having this same issue on the Xbox. Janitors aren't doing a thing.....wandering around, ignoring ALL issues.

Really sorry to hear this! 

We're still investigating the issue. As a workaround, try grouping janitors to only do specific individual tasks. You can do this by selecting each of them  and click on the "Job Assignment Tab" I've added a screenshot to show you:
