Short: The achievement 'You Win Some' is no longer counting wins or progressing in my Xbox Series X game.

Long: I played the game on release to the point I got three stars on every level. I've recently returned to playing and working through some achievements (and pondering buying the DLC). When I left the game, the completion percentage of this achievement was 80% (i.e. 12 of 15 wins). After updating the game and playing another level for a bit, I returned to Fluffborough and my original career save. I won (I thought) three more cheeseball games, but the achievement didn't activate; When I checked, the percentage complete was still showing at 80%. I saved, started a game in sandbox mode (Fluffborough, creative) and won another match. The completion percentage was still 80%. I returned to my career save and checked the career goals, which was showing 8/10 wins towards gold. This equates to 14 wins (1 for bronze, 5 for silver and 8 towards gold), so my counting above may be wrong. I then won two more games and the counter advanced towards and awarded me the career goal, but the achievement still wasn't awarded.

As a side note, I have seen progress against the Enough Experts achievement. Although I've not been tracking it, looking at it now I believe the Do Your Homework achievement is also stuck (on 94%) even though I've been completing research projects.

Any suggestions on causes or something I'm missing is welcome.

Further:

I don't trust Quick Resume on the Xbox, so I've closed the game, restarted the console and won three more cheeseball games. Still no achievement or progress recorded. I've also completed five more research projects with no achievement or progress showing - Do Your Homework is still showing 94% progress.

Could you try and win 5 games on the Sandbox save you created and let me know if the achievement pings for you, regardless of the progress tracker? 

We'll investigate this internally too and update if we find a quick workaround for you.

So, you want me to try and 'cheese' the achievement? (sorry, couldn't resist)

Whilst that's working through the system, I've managed to complete the achievements, You Lose Some and A Lot Wiser. The Like a Millionaire achievement is counting up (the students aren't very happy with my competitive method of teaching) but is counting only those dropping out in this sandbox game, not those already dropped out in career mode (that may be intentional). 

I've now won 15 matches and the achievement hasn't been awarded, but the progress has gone to 93%

And as I type, I've completed the career goal for cheeseball victories (1+5+10=16 victories) and the achievement has been awarded.

This still leaves 'Do Your Homework' not counting up (or having reset) in career mode. I have some more to do in career mode, so I'll keep researching and see if that moves after more research (which might suggest the counter got reset somehow).

Okay, so, I've turned one of my campuses towards research and completed a lot of projects. I didn't start counting at fist, but when I did I got to 30 when the achievement was awarded. My hypothesis would thus be that the counter on these achievements somehow got reset even though I was in the same career. Hopefully this helps you in finding the cause and preventing it in future updates (if updates were indeed the root of this).

I have passed all of this feedback on. We will also continue to investigate to see if we can spot a cause for the bug.

One player that recently had issue with an achievement found that it completed after restarting their console. have you done this? Please also make sure you are logged in and connected to the internet when attempting to complete an achievement.

Yep, as noted above, I had tried a complete restart (including closing the game so the console wasn't using Quick Resume). It didn't appear to help.

We're still not sure of the cause for this error. I will update as soon as possible if we figure out the problem.

In the meantime, please continue to attempt the achievement in Sandbox and whilst you are connected to the internet. 

Are you able to tell me what type of connection you are using, for example do you play at home or on a free University connection?

Hi there, I am also experiencing issues with 'You Win Some'. I was having issues with 'You Lose Some' but restarted the campus from the beginning & that sorted that one out, but no luck on this one. Have tried everything on the forums I could find, including uninstalling & reinstalling, ensuring I start the game as new (not from quick resume), among some of them.

Have you tried a full power down of the console or playing in Sandbox some users have found this can help.
