Hi everyone.

We’re really sorry, it seems some PS5 players experience Error Code: CE-107880-4  “Something went wrong” after trying to install the new Space Academy DLC.

We’re speaking with Sony in regard to the most serious cases of this problem. Below are some things to try, that might help, if you too are having trouble.

The PS5 should download DLC automatically. If you have attempted to download it from the PlayStation Store, then it’s possible you have the PS4 version installed, despite selecting PS5.

In this instance:

  • Find Two Point County on the dashboard.

  • Press the options button on your controller (the button with 3 lines).

  • When the menu opens, select Manage Game Content.

  • If there is DLC or an “Unknown” file installed, delete it with the bin icon.

  • Once removed, you can redownload the DLC from the Manage Game Content Menu (using the down arrow icon) and you will receive the PS5 version.

Or:

  • From the PS5 Dashboard, go to Settings.

  • Select Storage.

  • Under Console Storage go to Games and Apps

  • If there is an Unknown PS4 add on, remove it.

  • Redownload DLC from the Manage Game Content menu as above.

If those steps have not helped, other games with this error code have found success trying the following:

Try restoring the licence:

  • Restart the console.

  • Check the library to confirm the DLC been purchased.

  • From the Dashboard head to Settings > Users & Accounts> Other > Restore Licence.

Lastly, please try downloading the DLC from the PlayStation Store:

  • Sign in to your account on PlayStation.com

  • Select My PlayStation > Game Library, or open PlayStation App and select Game Library > Purchased.

  • Select the game you want to download from your purchased list and select Download.

  • Select which linked PS5 console or PS4 console you would like to download to.

  • Your game will begin downloading automatically.

  • Remote Download steps found here: Link

If none of the solutions have resolved your issue, please send your PSN username and email address to campus.support@twopointstudios.com.

This issue is a top priority and we’re doing what we can to assist Sony with finding a fix.

Thank you for your patience!
