I'm on switch. I'm playing the spy level and after my first year I was told the panic room was available and a requirement for year two. I had just placed the room (after some serious rearranging due to the size?!?!) And then my game crashed. Annoying, but I've come to expect a crash to occur while playing TPC now - sad. 

When I load back up my campus, and got back through to the summer before year 2, I can see that a panic room is a requirement but it's not available to build. 

I'm very upset. I've accepted the crashes. I've accepted the management view not working. But it's really frustrating when I can't progress a level. Please fix this urgently.

Really sorry to hear this!

Although not ideal, if you restart the level the room will unlock again when requested. If you save the game at this point, you should find that if it crashes again, you will still be able to progress when you log back in.

Have you opted in to sending error data? If so, and if you can remember, please let me know what time zone you are in as well as the date/time of the crash. This may help us pinpoint the cause and allow us to stop it from occurring in the future.  

Here are the steps to turn on Sending Error Data:

1. From the HOME Menu, select System Settings, then System. 
2. Scroll down until you see the option Send Error Information. 
3. Select this option to turn it on If you enable this option, you'll be presented with a second screen where you can select OK to confirm.

Thanks for responding. I have restarted the level a number of times and not been able to access the Panic Room despite playing from the beginning a few times now. 

I can access the Panic Room when I play sandbox, but when I go back into the story mode it's missing again.

This is strange!

Can I just 100% confirm that you have started the level from scratch and not done a quick save/reload? This issue is very similar to another where the above workaround resolves it, so I need the clarification for the programming team. 

Could you also tell me, if you start the year without building the room does it show up in the build menu?
