No matter how many times i set the student intake numbers my game automatically changes them to a random number. It’s different every time. Not sure if there’s a cap as to how many students you can have at a time per campus. 

this happened to me as well, when i was nearing the 300 student limit. when i would manually adjust the intake, it would start adjusting every course automatically. even when i was trying to set it to a lower number than the default intake. made it impossible to have multiples of 8 in everything.

You are correct! There is a cap for total number of students per campus, which has been put in place for performance reasons. Apologies this isn't messaged very well in game, and we will work to remedy this.

thank you for replying! i was aware of the maximum limit, but was having a problem with the automatic adjustment of student intake as a result of the limit. maybe it should be in a separate topic though. 

i had 4 courses with a default intake (when i opened the menu) of 16, 30, 22 and 26. when i lowered that 30 to 24, the game lowered every class on its own. i'm not sure it should behave this way, considering i was decreasing the total intake. it made it impossible to get efficient class sizes, which felt quite important with such a large campus

That does sound odd! I've had a chat with the dev team, could you confirm a couple of things for me?

1. On the course intake, do you happen to see a red exclamation mark in the management screen?
2. Which courses are you running in the scenario you mentioned above?
3. Could you confirm which platform you're on? (Steam, Gamepass, Console)

I did see the red exclamation mark explaining that my class sizes were being adjusted because of the limit.

I was running internet history, scientography, VR and robotics on urban bungle, and would have ~270 students at the start of year. I'm on steam.
