I started Mitton University yesterday, but the beginning narration to the campus was bugged. There was no sound until the campus building was loaded. I luckily had enabled captions in game, so I could read what the narration about Mitton University was supposed to say, but that made me encounter another bug: captions only appear on my screen about half the time. Things like opening up a menu to build on my campus cause captions to disappear, even if they were already on screen. The PA system will sometimes be captioned and sometimes not, and the same goes for any of the Two Point Radio DJs.  

Had the same issue right off the bat...if anyone is monitoring this please let us know if there's a patching incoming.

PS5 version of course...just wanted to be clear.

Hey, can I ask how you turn on captions? I'm on the PC version and I couldn't find the option. I was actually coming here now to post the suggestion to add captions, because I didn't know it was there already.

Sure thing, you access it on "Settings" through either the beginning menus (before you get into the map) or the pause menu. Here's a screenshot for reference:

After you click settings, it's under game settings with the option to turn on/off subtitles, scale your ui, set your language, ect.
