​Just purchased this game yesterday on my XBOX Series X after enjoying it on PS plus. Only to find out it is unplayable. 

I have a brand new controller, just updated today. I’ve just started a brand new save file and a brand new campus. Unplayable. 

The game doesn’t seem to be registering analog stick inputs correctly, it’s like the dead zone is inverted so that the outer edge of the analog stick is unresponsive rather than the center. Same for the triggers for zooming in. It only works if you just push the stick/trigger slightly, but that is not sufficient for long-term play. 

I really hope this gets resolved soon, I was looking forward to purchasing the DLC. Until now. 

And while I’m here, how does a game like this not have keyboard and mouse support on console anyway? 

EDIT: a very helpful Reddit user who was having the same issue has just notified me that the issue is caused by having a mouse plugged in to your console at the same time. The moment I unplugged it the camera controls went straight back to normal. 

I NEVER would have figured this out as in the last 5 years I’ve never encountered anything like this, and have a k&m hooked up to the console 24/7.
