I was playing on the second map, I just got 3 stars, I go to the main map and select "save game and exit" and then I got a crash. I go back to the game and get the following message: "Saving Career Failed. Unknown error: 8" and then the progress on all campuses is deleted. But the stars I have earned remain, so I play the next map, I finish playing for the day. Next day, I turn on the game and I am greeted by the same message and cleared saves again (very, very sad face emoji).

Another day, another wipe (sadness at maximum). Any solutions?

So sorry to hear you are having trouble with your saves. 

Would you be able to tell me the following:

1. Can you remember the date and time of the crash you experienced whilst saving? Please include your time zone if you do.
2. Have you had many other crashes at the point of saving?
3. Do you save to the cloud?
4. Are you able to save when using one of the other available save slots?

1. It happens to me every single time I log in which basically means the game is unplayable.

2. I dont have crashes when saving, but whenever I log back on the next day I get this error and none of my gaming has been saved.

3. I save to the cloud by default yes.

4. What other slots?  I click save and exit / or quick save each time, but when I next log in I get the "failed to save career message" and nothing has been saved.

The game is unplayable, please provide some advice.
