We're working on a fix, but in the meantime, if you close and reopen some of your existing rooms, you should see that the lectures are scheduled into the available space. Repeat this process until all lectures are scheduled.
Is there an update for this bug with the auto scheduler? I'm experiencing significant problems with it; these are a few issues that I am experiencing in the current summer period in my game:
Lectures are scheduled in lecture rooms that are set to NOT allow that course
It tells me I need extra teachers when some teachers haven't even been assigned to classes they are eligible to teach
I've got open lecture theatres not scheduling any classes at all, despite their course availability being completely open
The course availability for some lecture theatres seems to be flipped, so when it is checked it's NOT allowing that course, when it's unchecked it's allowing it
I've tried closing and opening all my teaching rooms in various orders, as well as allowing/disallowing staff to teach courses. Nothing is fixing it.
I am having similar issues in Spiffinmoore. I am trying to move out the Wizarding students with all of their stuff to another area of the campus so I can increase student numbers for the Dark Arts students and have space for all the extra rooms I'll need, but the autoscheduler does not play nice when I try to limit lecture rooms to one of the two. It will either schedule nothing at all, and then ask for an additional lecture room, or it will schedule the wrong course anyway. Same for the Potions room. It's making it unnecessarily complicated to even complete the first star this way.
Honestly I really wish we were able to manually edit the schedule. Awkward workarounds like "close and reopen this room and then hope for the best" don't really work long term. I do love the game very much, I am having a wonderful time for the most part. It's just that with this it's frustrating because I feel like I'm fighting the game itself instead of the challenges it sets before me.
