I currently have 3 psych rooms and 3 head rooms - but patients will mostly only queue for one available room - even with staff in. So at the moment i have 21 head patients all queuing for one room and the other two rooms have 0 patients waiting. Is there some gameplay thing i've missed? or a way i can get them to go to available treatment rooms? its making it near impossible to raise my cure percentage. Thanks for any info/advice.

generally patients will queue at a room thats both occupied by both 1 staff and at least 1 student, you have 3 psych rooms and 3 head rooms, thats a minimum of 6 teachers and 6 students for your campus.

Personally i found the sweet spot 3 students per 1 teach per room. so for your level that would be 6 teachers and 18 students per year.

As whowant says, there needs to be enough staff/students for the room to take patients. Can you confirm that you have enough staff on campus and that they are not on break? 

Let me know if the rooms are still inactive even with available teachers and students occupying them.

I have plenty of teachers and students (17 and 107 respectively). Patients do seem to sometimes re-organise themselves - i've been trying to keep an eye on why. I have enough staff but they don't always seem to come to the rooms... i can place them in there manually and students and patients will enter and the queue will start to go down - I tend to employ enough staff for the rooms plus one to cover once levels balance out but will need to have another check to see if they are on breaks or just wondering round aimlessly :)
