I put this in the suggestion forum about a month ago as well. But sometimes my students walk to what is the most available room for them which can be pretty far depending on what campus you are on. Maybe having the rooms also be by year as well could fix this. It could also create some nice creative opportunities to have a freshman dorm and classes.

Did you know that you can change a room to be for a specific course? You could do this for specific Dormitories too and that may help you plan the layout of your campus.

To do this, click on a room such as the Lecture Theatre and scroll down to Permissions. Now untick and of the courses you don't want to use that room.
