Room capacity seems unsatisfying

There is something unconvincing in having a small 4-bedded dormitory with a capacity of 20 (5 to a bed) while a huge Students Union complete with stage can only take 19 maximum.   I think I'd prefer it if either we had to have one bed per student, or at least double the capacity of rooms like the library and student lounges etc.  Class sizes are ok as they are, since you typically don't have a huge number of students in a teaching group session in real life (unlike lectures)

Agreed about the union and lounges- it makes sense to have a room limit during normal activity, but during parties it would feel more natural to see it crowded, and the small limit means only a small percentage of students participate in any activity you start. Doubling it at least during events would make it seem more reasonable to me.

I also noticed this. On top that adding extra space i.e. 10 extra squares only added 4 or something extra cap which makes the feeling worse. I actually figured if you instead have 2 rooms in the same space as that one you'll get more cap out of it. I tested one large had 21 cap and 2 rooms in the same space equalled 26 cap together which doesn't really make sense...

I do find that the limits are weird, to say the least. I think the limit needs to be set up higher. However, it should be calculated how much standing space is in the room. If it is a MASSIVE room but there is no space to really move in, even if all the items are usable, it is lower. If there is a smaller space but tons of room to stand in, then it is higher. This would encourage more open spaces, where as of right now the game seems to encourage cramped, tight spaces that have everything but no room to stand in. I may make a post in suggestions about this that go into more depth.

It doesn’t make any sense when you try to create a large room for the lounge or student union and only 9 or 8 students (i think) can enter at a time. Naturally, if you create a small space, few people can come in but if it’s a huge space, come on… logic please.

i agree, also staff room, staff that are not on break go in there, so when staff that are on break go in, it makes the room limit max out , and those that are not on break do not gain anything out of being in the room ,
