Disappointment with the "student cap"

One bad thing about this game is that the computer console automatically shrinks your school enrollment.

[For example of annual amount, if you lower your tuition to get your school to enroll 16 students for the next school year, but the computer won't do what you want, it will create a number such as 14 or 15.]

I'm a strict planner, I want enrollment numbers to be accurately predictable each year, and then I'll reserve the type and number of classrooms, dorm rooms, and public facilities based on those numbers. That way I could focus more on decorating the corridors and lawns rather than being forced to replenish the number of rooms each year.

However, the game's backend will set the maximum number of people on campus based on your personal computer's configuration.

[For example of total amount, on the XSX PS5 platform or higher configured computers, the campus size is capped at 300. while weaker computers (such as my laptop with 8g of RAM and Intel Iris xe GPU) have a campus number limitation of about 130 people.]

I know that your produce-developer has set up a hidden feature that "automatically adjusts the number of characters according to the computer configuration" in order to ensure that players have a smooth and high-definition gaming experience. Therefore, I would like you to develop a plugin with different levels to specify the maximum number of people in the school, and remind users that different maximum number of people may result in different smoothness.

For avid fans of simulation games, simply completing three-star missions is no longer enough to satisfy their happiness; these people want to create highly finished master plans, and then, unaffected by random variables, set up a utopian school, realizing that every corner of it can be balanced with authenticity, reasonableness, and aesthetics.

Ok, so I have a similar but less clear issue. I also really like to plan appropriately for the number of students on campus. I play on the switch and I'll have the proper number of beds in the dorm I'll set the number of students in each course and I should be able to have say 20 students in 3 courses but I'll set it to 16 each to optimize it. I have 100 beds yet the game will not allow the full 16 students to enroll in the course when the total number of students on campus is well below the number of beds. What's the other limit? Is it campus-level? I'm confused by this because it will increase each year, but I can't figure out what is allowing the increase.

Hi enlighten05,

Sorry about that.

The student cap on Switch is set to 150. This is because the Switch is not as powerful as other platforms so more students on Campus would really strain the hardware.

When you start to reach the higher end of the cap, you courses will automatically adjust the intake so that you do not go over the limit.

I hope that clears it up for you.

Thanks,

Chizel

Thank you for giving the exact cap number on switch. I also want to know the other platform's cap, especially those on different PC.

Hi fuyurain,

I have replied to your DM with the numbers, but here they are for others too.

Switch - 150

Xbox1/PS4 - 200

PC/XSX/PS5 - 300 (PC players will need to consider that these numbers as low/medium/high in your graphics settings).

I hope that helps!

Thanks,

Chizel
