Hi any developers reading this, I need to voice a problem I’ve been having with the game. You see with my museums I wanted to create lighting themes with certain rooms and areas of the museums and I can’t do anything to control it. I can’t make a room have a dark atmosphere for glowing and and spooky exhibits, or bright ones for… well I can’t think of anything right now but the point is even if I did I can’t. From what I can tell from zooming in there appear to be ceiling lights reflecting off the floors which could be part of the reason why so many are too bright. Also from playing on the finale map right now I’m seeing that all my partitions are definitely glowing, every single one of them, and changing the flooring or wallpaper doesn’t fix anything. Now I don’t know if it’s intentional but I feel this really restricts the creativity and decoration potential of players museums and I would hope something is done about it. I’m not sure but I think a good idea would be maybe to make an option to have things the way they are right now or to have it so museums are dark indoors by default (with exceptions like glow from aquariums and exhibits that would glow) and that you could add lights to brighten it up where you want, so that you can have control over it and can use it to enhance. Look at the end of the day I’m just some random player but I do think it would really help if you guys did something about this, because while for theming I think Wailton Lodge works with the default dark atmosphere, I don’t think the Pointy Mountains work with making it so bright that I can barely see my exhibits or anything else, especially with a fantasy themed museum where there should be dark areas. Also I mean no offense to any of you, I just really want this resolved and hope you get to reading this so you guys the professional developers can come up and implement an idea better than a rando like me could ever imagine or know how to do, please fix this.
