Having similiar issues as the above poster.
I'm attaching a screenshot of a robbery taking place right in front of the security and they do/did absolutely nothing.
I can understand that it adds an extra challenge the thiefs and such but imo it shouldn't be in every museum, or should at least be tweaked at bit more to make it fair.
Thanks for looking into this!
The security system within TPM is a total joke. It needs a complete overhaul.
1) Security guards do not stand up from their booths to capture criminals right in front of them. They should begin to give chase the moment the criminal tries to steal/vandalise within their sight
2) security guards seem oblivious to crime literally inches from their backs. Some small radial vision circle mixed with the cone should be sorted out.
3) only 1 security guard can chase a criminal at any time. This leads to other guards ignoring them if they see them, because they're already being chased. If a guard sees a criminal, he should alert nearby guards. Do they not have walkie talkies in Two Point County??
4) if boggymen get into a queue for the toilet, they cannot be touched, period.
5) security cameras are a complete joke - primarily due to point 3. If spotted on a security camera, the nearest guard (or three) should give chase.
This all feels like the security system got a massive nerf at some point, and no-one bothered to fix it. I understand the balance of the stealing mechanic is important, but I literally saw a guy vandalise my exhibit in plain view of a sat guard, then slowly SNEAK away. He only began running when a roaming guard saw him.
The entire security system needs a kick up its arse. A complete overhaul.
