This staff member came back with an illness. I have an available Douse 'n' Dose, and she started heading towards it... by going all the way around the building instead of moving through the entrance and the staff door.
For this screenshot, I picked her up and plopped her down next to the helicopter to see if she did it again. After vomiting, she indeed started going around the building again instead of moving in through the much shorter path.

Step by step of the bug
Step 1
Play on Passwater Cove (marine life) map
Step 2
Unlock all building plots (not including Wetlantian Pier)
Step 3
Expand the starting building to take up basically all of the plots
Step 4
Ensure the building has multiple entrances
Step 5
Build a "security checkpoint" at all entrances using dividing walls and security gates/staff doors
Step 6
Pick up and put down a staff member as far away from the helipad(s) as possible
Step 7
Send that staff member on an expedition
Step 8
Observe the staff member exiting and running the long way around the building instead of through it

I've noticed that staff going on expeditions, at least on the Passwater Cove and Bungle Wasteland maps, would rather run an extremely long way around the perimeter of buildings than take the much shorter route through the buildings. This means they can literally spend weeks getting from one end of the museum to the helicopter.
I have no idea if this has anything to do with my setting up smaller security zones where people have to pass through security gates at all entrances, or staff doors at staff entrances.
