First, the game froze while loading. I had to shut it down manually. Then I restarted and was able to play for 5-10 minutes. While the game was running (space map), it crashed again. After restarting, all my progress had disappeared and I was just given the option to start a new game.

What can I do now? I really don't want to start from scratch.

Step by step of the bug

Step 1

after installing the fantasy update I started my game with the space/tree map

Step 2

while loading the game froze - had to kill the process

Step 3

after restarting I could start the space/tree map and play for 5-10 minutes

Step 4

the game crashed and was gone without lags or bug report or something else

Step 5

restarted the game and all progress was gone, just can start a new game

Have there been any updates, or are you still working on it? I still can't play and keep getting the message 'Start new game'. This is really disappointing.

I updated the graphics drivers to the latest Nvidia version, but my saved game is still missing. I cannot therefore say if I still have problems with crashes. These occurred after I started the saved game.
