Wailon level:

When you're in the decorations menu, and you select an item that can be colour customised, the little preview image of the item is very dark*. Often it's almost black and doesn't change colour no matter what hue you pick; have a gawp at the attached vid for all the non-technicolour details. 
(I only recall seeing this issue on Wailon, and this is around since launch.)

*For many items, but not all, interestingly. In the spooky decorations tab, the wall candle, regular standing candle and chandelier for example, those are fine, but other items in that tab are all dark in the colour preview window. This applies to other decoration tabs as well.

I thought, as the candle items were all lighting items, that it was an issue with that, but the hanging jelly item seems ok (if small) and the Frogborne lamp is dark too, so.. bang goes my clever theory. 😄

Edit 1: 

To add that it's also happening on non decorative items, such as those in 'museum utilities'; like the drinking fountain I used in the vid. It's not just limited to decorative items.
