When trying to load the game, at first the game will not open at all. Eventually, the game will open and audio gets stuck-- it sounds like a record skipping-- and the graphics freeze. Eventually, microsoft informs me the game is no longer responding and I have to force close it out. The farthest I can get is selecting which museum i would like to load before it crashes out, but the crash can happen at any stage up to that point.

Step by step of the bug
Step 1
Open the game
Step 2
Game Does not Open
Step 3
Stop the game in steam
Step 4
Open the game
Step 5
Click Sandbox
Step 6
Game stalls and lags, wait a while
Step 7
Select any museum
Step 8
Game lags, audio skips, game crashes
Step 9
Force close game

Hello,

Sorry to hear this!

So that I can try to investigate your issue further, would you mind sending across your Two Point Museum (TPM) folder and a DxDiag?

To find your TPM folder,  follow this navigation path in file explorer: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\Two Point Museum. Once located, "Zip" the folder up (right click and you should see the option), then attach it to your bug report/reply. Please let us know which save slot to look in too if that’s where your issue occurs!

Zipping a folder is a way of compressing it into a smaller size. If you don't have an option to do this, you may need to download a program to help. I use one called 7zip which can be obtained here. The top option - ".exe - 64bit windows..." should do the trick.

Please also take a look at these General Troubleshooting steps to see if they help.

Thanks,

Chizel
