Bungle Wasteland is highly unprofitable so, as a means to make do, I took both of the two options for "Sponsorship": Bungle-d Bin and Holistix Diffuser. Holistix Diffuser works as intended, being viewed by guests as an exhibit and generating a modicum of buzz - but Bungle-d bin has mechanically no effect on anything and does not get influenced by buzz, decorations or position.
The bin has been in my museum for over two in-game years and has failed to be viewed or generate any buzz with any guest - all of its stats are factually 0 which means that the sponsorship item does not work. Placing the item in different parts of the museum, even highly decorated ones, do not trigger any buzz - the bin is essentially as useless as it can be which I have no idea if it's the intention but the bin itself hasn't paid me out a single dime. It's essentially useless as not even its lifetime revenue won't be paid out since it's one bin to be placed in the museum, a bin that nobody even sees - or notices.
