Not a fix, but a possible workaround. You can try putting it in the opposite environment (e.g. hot), then moving it back to the cold one. This may “reset” the internal checks for the cold environment.

Even when places right next to multiple wall or free standing freezer units the ghost plant will not stop rapidly wilting as if it wasnt in a cold environment. Happened with multiple plants. Tried picking them up and replacing them. Tried to use new freezer units. Used the wall and free standing units.
Other plants are fine with these same conditions.
Even you hover over the Cold climate indicator on the exhibit panel is shows the red popup but has a green check mark on the panel.
