I have a bug where security cameras attached to the same camera room have different sizes, & also they are randomly changing size of coverage between (during?) sessions. (Not in comparison to other rooms in the same museum, I mean between cameras connected to the same room)
At point of purchase, cameras that face different directions will have different sizes – one will be standard size range & another will be larger. I’ve had 3 placed in the same room at Pebberly set themselves at 3 different sizes.
I had the same issue in Bungle on a new camera room with multiple different camera ranges between standard & larger coverage range… but on returning to that save today some of the cameras at my Bungle museum had ranges that are the size of a quarter of the circle from a security gate, roughly the size of a kiosk.
Tried changing staff members & the issue exists irrespective of single or level 3 camera skill, & staff traits don’t affect it either.
Happens with as few as 2 cameras attached to the camera room.
The differing sizing happens on level 1 desk & upgraded desk as well as with & without security perks.
The cameras changing to tiny range happened on a room with a level 3 no perk desk.
I’ve noticed both Pebberly & Bungle happed when attaching to a camera room on a second plot.
Sadly, its not only visual & does affect the ability of the cameras to detect criminals (which is how I noticed the cameras had gotten tiny ranges between sessions).
After noticing it, I quit & relaunched the game hoping they would reset to correct sizing, however some of the new cameras that I had place to replace the bugged ones had also changed to tiny ranges…. Yet it’s not all the cameras from that room, only some.
