The expeditions location, Hogsport Peninsula, has disappeared from my game. I have expeditioned there at least once, as one of the attached screenshots shows that I have clown fish in an aquarium already. But my game crashed at some point, and the location is no longer there. I have done all the troubleshooting steps listed on our page. I have restarted my PC and the game. I have made sure all drivers are updated, and verified the integrity of my save files.

I ended up just skipping Passwater Cove and have done several of the other museum locations instead, hoping the problem would just fix itself, but still, I am unable to get to Hogsport Peninsula.

Step by step of the bug
Step 1
Crashed my game because I was marveling at the reflection of the lamps off of the marble floor.
Step 2
Re-opened the game, and went to Passwater Cove, only to see that I could not get to Hogsport.
Step 3
Went ahead and got to 3 and 4 stars at other museums

Hello, sorry about that! Would you be able to share your save with us to see if we can spot the problem? I've added the steps to do so into the comments below. Thanks, Chizel

Hello,

Sorry to hear this!

So that I can try to investigate your issue further, would you mind sending across your Two Point Museum folder? To do so follow this navigation path in file explorer: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\Two Point Museum. Once located, "Zip" the folder up (right click and you should see the option).

Zipping a folder is a way of compressing it into a smaller size. If you don't have an option to do this, you may need to download a program to help. I use one called 7zip which can be obtained here. The top option - ".exe - 64bit windows..." should do the trick. Once zipped up, you can attach it to your reply.

Something you could try is to delete your Passwater Cove level saves in order to start it again. Steps for save editing are here. If you do this, please make sure to save a copy of your save folder somewhere else first so that it is backed up.

Thanks,

Chizel
