Welcome to another one of our Feature Focus articles, where we’ll be taking a look at a particular awesome feature coming up in the Free Update accompanying JUMBO on consoles! This week, we’ll be focusing on R.E.M.I.X and GOOD GUBBINS there’s lots of content to get through here so let’s have a little overview of what R.E.M.I.X is.
R.E.M.I.X is a digital recreation of some of your favourite levels created by the fine folks at Bungle corp. What do we mean by digital recreation? Excellent question! The good people at Bungle came up with the idea to create a hospital simulator simulation… or something like that… where you’ll complete goals to receive stars. Of course, being digital, these stars don’t actually reflect anything tangible, they aren’t a standardised rating by a recognised board like the Two Point Health Ministry, they’re purely symbolic of progress and an understood practice in video games. Let’s face it, now you know about them, you want them, right? In short, we’ve taken some of the levels and well… remixed them with some new mechanics to add a lovely fresh twist.
So far, we’ve released two R.E.M.I.X updates on PC and now we’re very excited to be bringing them to console too in the Free Update! Take a look below for little breakdown of what you’ll be doing in each of the six R.E.M.I.X levels:
HOGSPORT
This lovely little tutorial level is known for being wonderfully peaceful, and a great way to get started in Two Point County. In R.E.M.I.X however, your beloved starter level is about to be overrun with patients needing attention in a 10 wave horde mode! You’ll need to use your skills as a wicked good hospital administrator to overcome this one!
LOWER BULLOCKS
Just when you think you’ve got to grips with Lower Bullocks, R.E.M.I.X strikes! This isn’t going to be a piece of cake (mmm…cake), this is a serious mission of hospital expansion, with super fun challenges to complete before you’re able to unlock more plots. Can you unlock them all, and sustain a successful hospital?
FLOTTERING
Yes, yes, we all know Flottering is a training hospital, but this time you’ll be profiting from career development (no, not your own). You’ll be facing the tough challenge of training up your junior staff members and profiting while you do it! You’ll still gain some income from curing patients of course, but we don’t really care about them here; that’s acceptable right
TUMBLE
Previously known for it’s earth-shattering seismic activity, the RE.M.I.X version of Tumble has you dealing with one GIANT wave of patients! Get your hospital set up quick and prepare for the most Fracture patients you’ve ever seen…
FLEMINGTON
Flemington used to be a nice introduction to marketing, but not anymore! You’ll be using everything you’ve learned about marketing in your time as a super sweet hospital administrator and using it to cure specific illnesses in a given time.
MITTON UNIVERSITY
Home to some of the brightest minds in Two Point County, usually your focus would be training student doctors. In R.E.M.I.X however, your goal is to unlock all of the plots by completing research and training challenges!
