This is bound to be in a list of DLC ideas but transport would be cool. For example university monorail/metro, bus network, electric bike hire or something similar and quirky in the Two Point style that you have to build and manage. Might involve larger maps or connecting campuses with the transport links. A successful commute and ease of access to the different campus areas would mean less tiredness (didn't have to walk), more happiness, increased productivity and that type of thing. Plus could mean more students coming in who live off site (e.g. external halls of residence, at home).
